Our Services

Home healthcare is a health related or supportive service provided by licensed personnel in the safety and comfort of a person's home. Home healthcare offers increased freedom and significant savings when compared to institutional care. Typical home healthcare services combine all levels of skilled nursing, home health aides, personal care aides, companions, and homemakers. You have the right to choose your homecare provider. Our nurses will work with you, your family, and your doctor to create a personalized plan of care in order to determine which one of the following services is right for you:

  • Home Healthcare

is healthcare or supportive care provided in the patient's home by our licensed medical personnel, healthcare professionals or certified Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides.

  • Home Care

is non-medical or supportive services provided in the patient's home by our healthcare staff. Home care includes Homemakers, Sitters, and Respite Care.

  • Pediatric Care

is the branch of home healthcare that deals with the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The upper age limit ranges from age 14 to 18.

  • Eldercare

is the fulfillment of the special needs and requirements that are unique to senior citizens. This broad term encompasses such services as assisted living, adult day care, long term care, nursing homes, hospice care, and in-home care.

  • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Services and Nursing Home Transition and Diversion (NHTD) Services

use Medicaid funding to provide support and services to assist individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries toward successful inclusion in the community. These services are provided through the New York State Department of Health TBI and NHTD Waiver Programs. Home and Community Support Services, Independent Living Skills Training, Respite Care, and Wellness Counseling are additional services that can be provided under the TBI and NHTD Waiver Programs.

  • Respite Care

is the utilization of home health care services to provide short term relief to the primary caregivers of individuals who are unable to care for themselves.

  • Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS)

are monitoring devices in the home that ensure an individual's comfort, safety, and independence is maintained 24/7. PERS offer extra peace of mind when a caregiver is away from the home, and offer immediate assistance in case of a personal emergency. Our local Staying Home Safe Program delivers and monitors the device(s) in partnership with Critical Signal Technologies' nationwide professional Care Center. The most commonly requested systems include our PERS Machine, Cellular Module, Medication Management Dispenser, and Fall Detection devices.
